The sea has always evoked a feeling of nostalgia and memories of the underwater adventures of my childhood. But as a child, I could never dive. It wasn’t a fear of water or of drowning. It was a fear of the pain of the impact of my body hitting the water. This layered composition of photographs, represents the process and bridge between the submerged and resurfaced reality that one experiences during an underwater ordeal.
